Graduation ceremony at SÜDPACK

With around 100 apprenticeships, SÜDPACK is one of the biggest training companies in the region. Now, on July 20, 2021, after successfully completing their apprenticeship years, a total of 30 graduates received their final certificates at the headquarters in Ochsenhausen. Almost 90 percent of them will then start their careers at the film manufacturer in a wide variety of professions.

Seven apprenticeships, eight study programs, a sophisticated development program and individual support - for all those who value a solid, exciting education, appreciate career prospects and at the same time (want to) feel at home in the region, then the film manufacturer is a top address. The globally active family-owned company consciously combines tradition with innovation - and focuses on values, sustainability and, above all, future viability. The most important success factors? State-of-the-art machinery, a long-term corporate strategy, a consistent focus on customers and markets, and comprehensive expertise in film production and printing.

SÜDPACK's high-performance films and packaging solutions are used in system-relevant industries such as food, medical goods and pharmaceuticals, as well as in the electronics and automotive industries. "As one of the first manufacturers, we also specialized at an early stage in the development of concepts that conserve resources and the environment, as well as being recyclable - thereby further consolidating our leading position in the market," explains Carolin Grimbacher, Managing Partner of SÜDPACK.

One of the most important components with regard to successful, solid growth is the promotion of young talent in-house. The 2021 graduates, for example, were trained as process mechanics for plastics and rubber technology, media technologists and media designers, warehouse logistics specialists, electronics technicians for industrial engineering, industrial mechanics and industrial clerks. The students come from the fields of business administration (industry as well as forwarding, transport and logistics), industrial engineering, mechanical engineering with a focus on plastics technology, business informatics, and food and packaging technology.

The high level of training as well as the intensive support provided by qualified, highly motivated specialists for each profession is reflected, among other things, in the above-average performance and results of the graduates. "All the junior staff who have now completed their training with us have also received a job offer from us. Only four out of a total of 30 trainees have other plans for the future," sums up Carolin Grimbacher.

During the ceremony, which was smaller due to the pandemic, Carolin Grimbacher and Dr. Stephanie Würfl, head of training in Ochsenhausen, presented the graduation certificates and a small gift after a short speech. And the weather also played along, so that the entertaining celebration with champagne and a small buffet could take place in outstanding summer weather on SÜDPACK's own roof terrace, as in previous years. "The first-year industrial clerks succeeded in organizing an all-around perfect and at the same time corona-appropriate event. Respect for this strong performance," sums up Dr. Stephanie Würfl.
