At SÜDPACK, we’re looking for students eager to make a meaningful contribution to the sustainable use of limited natural resources, and to help us drive progress in the areas of waste disposal and recycling.

You’ll build on your business knowledge and project management skills by working on real-world problems within the company. As the demands placed on packaging – especially regarding product protection, sustainability, and recyclability – continue to grow more complex, SÜDPACK is looking for students who can bring the right expertise and capabilities to a business setting.

You’ll rotate through departments such as Research & Development, Application Technology, Quality Management and Laboratory, Process Engineering, and Production Projects. You’ll also become familiar with our state-of-the-art machinery and receive foundational training in plastics and metalworking as well as electrical engineering in our training workshop. The Food and Packaging Technology program prepares students to take on versatile, product-related roles in technical areas.

This degree program offers in-depth practical experience and runs for seven semesters. It includes theoretical phases that take place at Kempten University of Applied Sciences. You’ll work at the company during semester breaks and the internship semester (fifth semester). You’ll complete a project assignment during the internship semester and write your bachelor’s thesis in the final semester – focusing on current, real-world topics that add value to the company.
