Electronics engineer for plant technology (m/f/d)

What you’ll learn

You’ll learn how to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems such as switchgear and control systems. You’ll become skilled at programming and configuring electrical components and systems – helping to keep everything running at full speed through regular maintenance and prompt repairs. When something goes wrong, you’ll quickly identify the fault and fix it. After completing your basic training, you’ll primarily work in our technical maintenance department, where you’ll learn how to design and install complex control systems using circuit diagrams and functional charts. You’ll also gain a basic understanding of how to maintain machines and systems used in film production and processing, plastics manufacturing, and metalworking.

IT specialist for application integration (m/f/d)

What you’ll learn

You’ll learn how to develop and implement custom software applications. You’ll gain hands-on experience with software development tools and build a solid foundation in programming. You’ll get to know key programming languages such as ABAP, C#, Go, Python, and SQL – and apply them in your own projects. Debugging? No problem. You’ll learn analytical methods to identify and resolve errors, and you’ll support our employees by providing technical advice to keep everything running smoothly. Your primary workplace will be our programming department. As part of your training, you’ll also gain insights into IT client management and IT infrastructure.

What you’ll learn

You’ll learn how networks are structured and how to combine hardware and software into complex systems. At our company, you’ll gain the skills to design IT infrastructures and communication systems that meet specific requirements – and to solve problems using a systematic approach. You’ll primarily work in IT client management and infrastructure, providing solutions to any IT issues encountered by our employees. You’ll also gain a basic understanding of programming and SAP support.

Warehouse logistics specialist (m/f/d)

What you’ll learn

You’ll learn how to receive and inspect goods, and make sure everything is stored in the right place. Transporting, picking, and packing? No problem – you’ll handle delivery notes, customs documentation, and everything in between. Lastly, you’ll ensure that all goods are properly loaded and ready for shipping. Throughout your training, you’ll rotate through all key logistics departments, including Goods Receiving and Outgoing Goods, the high bay warehouse, Packing, and Dispatch. You’ll also learn how to safely operate in-house transport equipment – and of course, you’ll earn your forklift license with us. In addition, you’ll be introduced to film production, quality management, supply chain management, and shipping processes.

1st year of training:

Introduction to various departments (e.g. Goods Receiving, high bay warehouse, Packing)

What you’ll learn

You’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of commercial processes – from preparing quotations and entering orders to delivering goods to the customer. You’ll be involved in procurement, comparing quotations and communicating with suppliers and customers. You’ll also learn how to plan and organize business operations, manage financial figures, and ensure everything is properly documented in accounting. Your creativity will come into play when supporting event planning and employer branding activities. You’ll rotate through all key administrative departments, take on your own tasks and projects, and contribute actively to day-to-day business operations. During your training, you’ll also get to know the production side of the business and learn all about our products.

What you’ll learn

You’ll gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of an internationally active family business, taking on your own tasks and projects while rotating through all commercial departments. You’ll process orders, prepare quotations, handle procurement and scheduling tasks, and be a point of contact for both customers and suppliers. You’ll also gain firsthand experience of dispatch and customs procedures. You’ll also gain an understanding of our production processes and see how our products are made.

This two-and-a-half-year training program includes regular block-based vocational school classes at the Friedrich-List-Schule in Ulm. You can choose between French and Spanish as your obligatory foreign language.

You have a high school diploma or subject-specific university entrance qualification, and are interested in languages, business processes, and international operations. You’re a strong communicator, a reliable team player, and have a solid command of English. In addition, you have studied French or Spanish as a foreign language at school for at least three years.

Industrial mechanic for plant technology (m/f/d)

What you’ll learn

We’ll teach you how to assemble tools and machines and ensure they run exactly as intended. If something isn’t working properly, you’ll be able to quickly to identify the problem and fix it. You’ll manufacture workpieces and components for tools and machines, install them on machines and in mechanical systems, and carry out maintenance on production equipment. After learning the basics in our training workshop, you’ll primarily work in the technical maintenance department. You’ll also be introduced to maintenance processes in film production and processing, and learn the fundamentals of plastics processing and electrical engineering.

This three-and-a-half-year training program starts with four days of vocational school per week in the first year at the Karl-Arnold-Schule in Biberach. From the second year on, classes take place every two weeks in short blocks of two to three days.

Plastics and rubber technician (m/w/d)

What you’ll learn

You’ll become a specialist in operating our high-tech extrusion lines and ensure smooth production of blown and cast films. You’ll learn how to independently operate one of the machines on our state-of-the-art multiXtrusion pilot plant, which our trainees are responsible for operating on their own. In production, you’ll be right in the thick of things – and quick to respond whenever disruptions occur. The quality of our high-performance films is in your hands! In our training workshop, you’ll build a solid foundation in plastics and metal processing as well as electrical engineering. You’ll also gain valuable insights into film finishing and quality management.
