Sustainability is part of our DNA

Our sustainability strategy brings together specific targets across three key areas of action.

The plastics and packaging industry is undergoing fundamental change. Making this transformation a success will require the responsible use of resources, circular product design, a functioning circular economy, and a significant overall reduction in CO2 emissions along the value chain. Achieving this is a shared responsibility – one that requires action from industry, retailers, policymakers, legislators, researchers, and every member of society.

At SÜDPACK, sustainability has long been an integral part of our corporate strategy and the way we operate. Our approach is structured around three key areas of action: Circular Economy, Climate and Nature, and Social Responsibility. Clearly defined targets help us focus our efforts and turn our ambitions into meaningful action.

The three pillars of CSR

SÜDPACK feels sustainable development is its duty – in environmental, economic and social terms.

Sustainable management

We focus on a sustainable manufacturing technology, develop sustainable products and business models, in customer relations based on trust and in our employees.

Environmental responsibility

With a reduction of our carbon footprint, an efficient materials management and the implementation of closed-loop systems, we contribute to the reduction of our footprint.

Social responsibility

Our employees are our most important resource.
But we take responsibility not only as an employer, but also with our regional and social commitment.
