Ecoskin and other innovations at Germany's leading exhibition in Dusseldorf

SÜDPACK Verpackungen GmbH & Co. KG from Ochsenhausen stood out with several new innovations at the Interpack in Düsseldorf. The packaging specialist not only presented the latest generation of re-sealable film, Multipeel^®, but also its new Ecoskin film, which wraps around goods like a second skin.

Owner Johannes Remmele: "To us, Interpack is Germany's leading exhibition. It's superb that we were able to present some extremely promising innovations". Basically, SÜDPACK aims to benefit fully from being at the leading edge of technology and, of course, its position as an all-round provider. Other themes of the leading provider of packaging film at this year's exhibition were the convenience products Ecovent^® and Ecosteam^®, as well as the practically indestructible Multifol-G-Plus film for particularly sharp-edged products.

We continually seek ways to help our customers with innovative packaging solutions that make the point of sale even more successful. In the process, we expand our range and create additional packaging options for our customers. As a result of SÜDPACK’s new Ecoskin film, goods are presented in all their splendour. In this respect, the very high transparency and glossy top surface are decisive", says Johannes Remmele. The new SÜDPACK Ecoskin film is available in three different strengths and achieves middle or high barrier properties. Other advantages are very good adhesion to meat, excellent shrinkage characteristics, and the absolute durability of Ecoskin film, which can be used on any appropriate packaging machinery.
This packaging solution also offers a means of reducing packaging volume, in particular when compared with fumigated rigid packaging. In times of high transportation costs (diesel, toll) and political pressure, the need for environmentally sound systems is gaining in importance. SÜDPACK meets these challenges and provides customers and consumers with timely solutions.
